Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: We will ship your order out the same day we receive it, just allow 4-5 days for delivery. If you need your order quicker you may choose one of the expedited shipping options.

Q: What happens if one of the items on my order is on backorder?
A: Your item will be placed on our backorder list. As soon as the item becomes available we will generate an order to ship out the backordered item.

Q: If I ordered the wrong size can I exchange it for a new size?
A: Yes, just return the wrong size item using the RETURN FORM. Place a new order for the correct size.

Q: If I made a mistake while processing an order who do I contact?

Q: I need a receipt for my order how do I get one?
A: You will receive an invoice in the mail a few days after your order has been shipped.

Q: If I feel like there is a mistake when I receive my order what should I do?
A: Call Ada Jordan phone 601-984-3218 or email ajordan@msblind.org. Keep in mind it is very important that MIB is notified of any possible errors as soon as you receive your shipment. Contact within 24 hours of receipt is crucial. Any time beyond this may limit what MIB is able to correct. MIB checks every order prior to shipment to provide the best possible customer service.

Q: If my group uses purchase orders what is the process for ordering?
A: You can place your order by the web or by fax using the purchase order number. Keep in mind that if you must fax or mail your purchase order to notate in bold letters on the purchase order that it is confirming an order. This will minimize
the possibility of creating a duplicate order.

Q: How are “standard” orders shipped?
A: MIB’s standard orders are shipped out Fed Ex Ground.

Q: I did not receive one of the Clearance Items that I ordered, will I receive it?
A: Clearance items are items that we are discontinuing. These items won’t be restocked. If you were shorted one of these items it means that we are out of stock on that item.
